baxter_simonSimon Baxter— Lean Black Belt. Simon contributes to client value through projects and training initiatives using skills and experience gained over nearly 20 years as a practitioner in a range of roles for multi-national companies in the electro-mechanical and electronics industry. Simon worked at Solectron Scotland Ltd, most recently as part of Solectron’s Six Sigma Lean transformation team. Prior to this, Simon led the Supplier Quality Engineering team at Solectron Scotland, with technical and quality responsibilities for supplier selection/approval and ongoing management. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Bradford University, England. chanoff_matthewMatthew Chanoff—Chief Economist. Matt has a Masters of Arts degree in International Economics and Politics. He has designed and implemented broad-scale market evaluations and market-entry strategies in the United States, China, and Southeast Asia for Fortune 500 companies in several industries, including electronic components, high-tech materials, software, automotive market and aftermarket, chemicals, investment, and professional services. Since 1997, Matt has managed projects in the areas of supply chain management, new market assessment, customer pre-qualification, acquisitions, and siting manufacturing facilities. Matt manages our custom research projects, delivers recommendations to clients, and is a lead analyst on Quarterly Forum's annual contract manufacturing study. anne_feithAnne Feith— a Sr. Market Analyst contributing to Technology Forecasters for the last decade. Anne’s knowledge in the electronics manufacturing has been evident in research efforts globally across various sectors (automotive, military, telecom, security, medical, industrial and aerospace to name a few). Her interviewing skills consistently extract insights from EMS, OEMs and technology suppliers. She has also led various consulting projects for Quarterly Forum member companies, Anne work has also extended into the  environmental field for high tech companies. Previously Anne worked for American President Lines. Her Undergraduate Degree is from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana: BS in Marketing; Minor in Music. gilbert_jonJonathan Gilbert— An expert in supply chain management, logistics, and planning, Jon Gilbert has more than 18 years of experience in improving service, reducing cost, increasing efficiency, and integrating new technologies in diverse industries. At Quarterly Forum, Jon conducts research and provides consulting services in transportation and logistics, supply chain management, and operations. Jon earned a B.S. from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He has held significant leadership positions at NuCO2, a national carbon dioxide gas distributor; electronics component manufacturer MF Electronics; BOC Edwards, a major supplier of electronics process gases, chemicals, and equipment; BOC Group; and Pyle Corporation.
